Does My Child Need Occupational Therapy?

  • reaching developmental milestones
  • gross motor co-ordination and balance
  • posture
  • establishing hand dominance
  • clumsiness
  • fine motor coordination
  • play skills
  • handwriting
  • motor planning
  • body awareness and self-care, e.g. dressing, feeding
  • confidence with pencil and paper tasks including the use of pencils, scissors and drawing
  • visual perception
  • attention and concentration
