Specialist Tutoring

Services are provided for school-aged children and adolescents.

Wendy has 25 years experience working with the NSW Education Department Curriculum in public and private schools. Wendy has worked with many students who have specific learning difficulties and also assists with language transition for International Students. Using the name ‘Life Goals’, Wendy has conducted interactive workshops in primary and secondary schools throughout NSW. These workshops are offered at ATS during school holidays. Also of importance is the experience Wendy brings as the Mum of a son and a daughter.

Wendy accepts referrals directly from clients who require specialist tutoring because they are not performing in school to the best of their ability. Wendy also accepts referrals from school staff and other professionals who may have identified a student with special learning needs. Wendy is able to identify each student’s learning problem and assist him/her to master the skills needed to perform at an optimal level.

Wendy provides strategies so that students can approach schoolwork with confidence. Wendy offers expert assistance in the following areas which are vital to all school subjects: reading and writing skills concentration verbal skills comprehension mind mapping study skills essay writing technique listening skills exam techniques.
