Dietetics

Dietetic services are provided for people of all ages. Georgina has six years clinical experience working with school students through to senior citizens in aged care facilities.
Diet plays a crucial part in the health and wellbeing of people of all ages. For children, learning to eat a healthy, balanced diet will ensure that good eating habits are ingrained for life. Healthy eating provides children with the nourishment their bodies need so they can grow, develop and learn.
As we enter adulthood our body needs change. Energy needs often decrease but our need for nourishment does not; thus the focus changes from fuelling growth and development to maintaining good health.
As we get older our bodies starts to show signs of the wear and tear we have been exposed to in previous years. Heart disease (including blood pressure and cholesterol levels), diabetes and weight management become primary concerns.
Georgina is aware of the different needs of individuals as they progress through life’s stages. She provides dietetic advice that is tailored to individuals and that fits in with their current position in life- whether that be new mother, teenager, retiree, athlete or relatively sedentary white-collar worker.
Georgina provides you with the knowledge to make better dietary and lifestyle decisions, arming you with information to help maximise your health both today and in the future.
